First off I didn't like being pressured to upgrade my vehicle.Car proceeded to act up and not want to start, ended up limpinge car in and when dropped it off the car didn't start for the attendant.Told him the story and needless to say I'm finished with alamo car rental services. Need to download an app to connect your phone to the car which was very faulty but that was all Nissan. the pick up took over an hour and they went from 8 people at the desk down to 4 during a busy time.People were getting agitated waiting so long to get the car. But we must have waited an hour and a half with a 2 and 3 year old after a 6 hour flight and it felt like easy a nightmare.Once we got the rental contract, we still waited another hour to get our car. I can only wonder what a customer in an emergency can hope to get. Despite having a reservation, we still had to wait over 30 minutes for the minivan to be ready- with 3 kids (12, 2, and 3mos) who had all been travelling all day.), but I asked the agent to remove the fee, and she did with a warning and a wink.The car worked great, and the price was unbeatable for a minivan for 8 days...5!!

Incredibly low rate and reasonable fees if you have your own insurance. We got a Chevy sonic which was perfect for 2 people with 2 suitcases.We got in on a Friday, so I think there was a rush (huge line).My sister rented from the same place the day before and there was no line.This was an extremely frustrating process that really shouldn't have been especially at the end of my vacation this was the last thing I wanted to deal with.I will never again rent a car from Payless or Budget.
